WHAT IS A PRE-PURCHASE PEST REPORT?
Our Pre-Purchase timber pest inspectors report on all areas of potential house purchases including the sub-floor, roof void, internal rooms and areas within 50 metres of the dwelling to the boundary lines.
WHAT DO OUR INSPECTORS REPORT ON?
Our inspectors report on previous and current termite activity, past termite treatments based on evidence or paperwork presented. They also report on damage to dry seasonal timbers caused by borers, significant decay, poor sub-floor ventilation, and we forward recommendations to help prevent future termite attacks.
MLC Pest Control recommends that a pest inspection be carried out at the same time as a building inspection so that any termite damage that we detect can be checked by the builder to determine if repairs are required. A combined building and pest inspection is carried out by two seperate inspectors who will, where possible, assess the property at the same time.
All MLC pest inspectors are licensed and covered by MLC Pest Controls Professional Indemnity Insurance. Copies of MLC Pest Controls insurance policy and licence will be provided on request.
