Cockroaches
Cockroaches in Australia primarily fall into one of two species. The Australian cockroach and the German Cockroach. German cockroaches measure between 1cm and 1.5cm and are normally tan in colour. German cockroaches normally inhabit food processing areas and are seen during the day if there is an infestation that is disturbed or at night which is when they are most active. The Australian cockroach is winged and measures between 3cm and 3.5cm and travel quickly, often darting out of sight when someone enters a room.
