Bees and Wasps
Australia has over 1,500 species of native bees, of which only ten are stingless. Bees sting their victim by using a dart-like needle in their tail to inject venom. Bees leave their "stingers" behind and die soon after the sting, but wasps are able to sting repeatedly because they do not leave their "stinger" behind. It is important if you find a bee or wasp nest on your property to keep people away from the nest. If the nest is located near the house keep doors and windows closed.
How MLC Pest Control can help you with a bee or wasp problem
Our technicians pre-inspect the inside and outside of the house prior to application of the service to locate the nest. This service is much more effective if the location of the nest is known. We do not use air borne sprays inside the home.
