Bed Bugs are back

Since the late 1990s bed bugs have made a comeback and have returned stronger than ever. Hypotheses for the resurgence includes increased international travel and immigration, changing pest control methods and bed bugs developing a resistancy to insecticides.

Infestations have been found in high and low-end residential areas, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes and public schools.

Bed bugs are flat, allowing them to get in or behind anything. When an infestation occurs bed bugs migrate to areas of least disruption and exposure such as the mattress or bed base making them very hard to detect.

It only takes three to four months for a location to become fully infested.
